Jan G. Sulcove, Esq.

Jan G. Sulcove is a 1968 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a 1971 graduate of Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

He is admitted to practice in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania. As a senior partner in the law firm of Black and Davison, he has focused his practice on all aspects of personal injury law, including a wide variety of claims for wrongful death, injuries from automobile, motorcycle, pedestrian, and bicycle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, defective premises cases, animal bite cases, and injuries from defective products.

Mr. Sulcove provides representation to injury victims in need of assistance in presenting claims to insurance companies for all types of physical and mental injuries resulting from accidents. He does not, and will not, represent insurance companies. In addition to accident victims, Mr. Sulcove provides assistance to Social Security Disability claimants. Over the years, he has provided counsel in lawsuits to a wide variety of litigants in other areas, including construction, land use, and employment disputes.

Robert C. Schollaert, Esq.

Robert C. Schollaert is a graduate of Bethany College and received his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has been admitted to the practice of law in the State Courts of Pennsylvania and Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.

As one of the senior partners in the firm, Attorney Schollaert provides representation in the areas of real estate including representing Buyers and Sellers of real estate, wills and estate planning, issues affecting the elderly, and probate and estate administration. Attorney Schollaert is a member of the Franklin County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Land Title Association and he is a licensed title insurance agent in Pennsylvania. Attorney Schollaert has been a partner at Black and Davison since 1972.

Elliott B. Sulcove, Esq.

Elliott B. Sulcove is a 1999 cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a 1996 graduate with honors from Swarthmore College. Prior to joining Black and Davison, Mr. Sulcove was an associate in the Philadelphia office of Duane Morris LLP. Mr. Sulcove is licensed to practice in the the state courts of Pennsylvania, and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sulcove is also licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Sulcove is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Franklin County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Jerrold A. Sulcove, Esq.

Jerrold Sulcove is a 2004 graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and a 1999 summa cum laude graduate of Oberlin College. He is admitted in the state courts of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Sulcove is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Franklin County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Prior to law school, Mr. Sulcove was a research scientist concentrating in the field of neurovirology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. At Temple University, Mr. Sulcove was a member of the Temple University Law Review.

Mark T. Orndorf, Esq

Mark Orndorf is a graduate with honors from Lebanon Valley College and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Mr. Orndorf is licensed to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Franklin County Bar Association.

At Dickinson, Mr. Orndorf received the CALI award for top honors in Legal Writing and served as an editor for the Penn State Dickinson International Law Review. Mr. Orndorf is also active in his community and serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations. At Black and Davison, Mr. Orndorf concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, tax assessment appeals, commercial litigation, estate planning, and real estate transactions.

Lauren E. Sulcove, Esq

Lauren E. Sulcove is currently a Partner at Black and Davison, P.C., as well as at Family First Estate Services, a full-service firm specializing in wills and estate administration. She is a 2004 graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and a 1990 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Denver.

Prior to joining Black and Davison, Attorney Sulcove spent thirteen years prosecuting homicide, child abuse, and sexual assault cases. Eventually, she was appointed First Assistant District Attorney of Franklin County, a title she proudly held from 2014 through 2017. Most recently, she served as a Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, defending Pennsylvania State Police troopers, corrections officers, and other state agents in civil rights actions. Her work as a Deputy Attorney General also allowed her to represent Pennsylvania state universities in employment discrimination suits.

Attorney Sulcove is licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and all of the state courts. She recently became a board member of the Franklin County Library System, and she is a long-term member of the Pennsylvania and Franklin County Bar Associations. In law school, where she met her husband (Jerrold), Attorney Sulcove was an editor of the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.

Tracy J. Ross, Esq.

Tracy’s practice is concentrated in estate planning and probate administration, criminal defense, business law, and general litigation matters. Prior to joining Black and Davison, P.C. in 2003, she was a partner of Keller, Keller, Beck and Ross, LLC.

Tracy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech and her Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Law. She is involved in a variety of community organizations and initiatives.

In her free time, Tracy enjoys running and hiking with her dog, Winnie, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

John B. Keller, Esq.

Of Counsel

Jeb’s general litigation practice is concentrated in representing people with personal injury claims, criminal defense, insurance defense and general civil litigation. After graduating from law school, Jeb was a law clerk for the Honorable Carol L. Van Horn, President Judge of the 39th Judicial District of Pennsylvania. Following his clerkship, he joined Keller, Keller, Beck and Ross, LLC, where he was a partner.

Jeb holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication Studies from Shippensburg University, where he was a member of the PSAC champion football team. After college, Jeb worked as an insurance agent and as a football coach at his alma mater, Waynesboro Area Senior High School. Jeb went on to the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he was class president and received honors including the Order of the Barristers and the school’s community service award.

Outside of his law practice, Jeb is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball. He also participates in community theatre and earned a credit for his role as a high school football coach in the movie Concussion.

Mindy Bowers is a paralegal in the firm’s estate administration department. As an integral member of Black and Davison, P.C. for over 20 years, she has provided her expertise in all areas of estate administration. What Ms. Bowers values most about her career is being able to guide clients through the estate administration process, while showing compassion and understanding with regard to the loss of their loved ones.
